“SACRED,…SAYINGS!”…

All, these springs,…my Soul, has tasted;
They’ve failed, to meet,…my deepest needs.
Christ, alone,…has met, my longing;
Now, I’m satisfied,…in Word and Deeds!...


His Cross was ready,…and on it, He died;
From a distance, still many,…have come and Cried!...


Barabbas,…Barabbas!...
We want,…the Thief.
Crucify,…Jesus;
Put Him,…to Grief...


They saved,…the robber;
With hands,…unclean.
And nailed,…to that Cross;
The,…Nazarene!...


Barabbas,…was set-free;
As Jesus,…hung on Calvary.
He died,…even for those;
These sons,…of Shame.
Now, today,…we breathe;
With,…hushed-accents.
Uttering, His,…(“SACRED”),…Name!...

From,…days, past.
Hoping,…to reach;
My Lord’s,…grasp.
To Him,…on High;
We,…ride, anew!...


Speaking,…lengthy;
In,…Loving sentences.
I’m,…never found;
Short,…for words.
His-Words,…I hear;
And,…always, obey.

I,…pray!...


Instructing,…me;
Along,…His-Way.
From Jesus’,…Treasures;
I find,…much pleasure.
Which ones,…He’ll, choose;
Which ones,…He, won’t.
I ask,…myself;
Day,…after Day!....


From here,…He takes;
From there,…He, votes.
Placing,…our prayers;
Within,…His box.
To Him,…I write;
A book,…of notes.
For Him,…to read;
As,…time, promotes!....

This World,…will know.
For who,…we pray;
Till,…Kingdom-come.
His Will,…be done;
On Earth,…and in Heaven.
Delivering,…us, from;
All,…it’s leaven!....


Who’s, who,…it’s, He,
Who,…knows.
To give,…you, bread;
And guard,…from evil.
Placing,…you;
In,…His domain

I do not ask,…for mighty-words;
To leave the crowds,…impressed.
But, grant my life,…may ring so true;
And that my neighbor,…may be Blessed!...


All Christians,…have been gifted;
By Grace,…from God above.
Equipped to build,…and strengthen;
The church in Faith,…and Love!...


The task, Thy wisdom,…has assigned;
Oh’, let me,…cheerfully fulfill.
In all my works,…Thy presence find;
And prove Thy Good,…and Perfect Will…


Love through me,…Love of God;
There is no,…Love in me.
Oh’ Fire-of-Love,…light Thou the Love;
That burns,…perpetually!... Amen.

“CASTING,…MY,…CARES”…


I’ll check within,…my own heart, first;
The obvious is clearly,…seen.
Those faults, I find,…in others;
Are really,…faults in me!...


My Faith today,…will not shrink;
Though I’m pressed,…by every foe.
I won’t tremble,…nor be made, to blink;
By any Earthly,…woe!...


Almighty, matchless,…Glorious-God;
Inhabiting,…Eternity.
I bow to You,…and praise, Your Son;
In awe that, He,…can live in me!...


Keep your witness,…bright and clear;
So that, this World,…may see and hear.
God’s Salvation,…far and near;
That others too,…may fear!...


If God is calling,…you, today;
Then trust His Son,…without delay.
Tomorrow, it will be,…too late;
If death occurs,…and seals your fate!...


God has given you,…His promise;
That He hears,…and answers, prayer.
He will heed,…your supplication;
If you cast on Him,…your cares!... Amen.

(“THERE’S-NOTHING,…SO-GRAND”),…as we;
Yes, like the Oak-Tree,…we’ve-not, grown alone.
We, the unsheltered,…from storms, and their breeze;
Laying beneath, the forest,…we remain, always prone!...


Many are the tempest,…sweeping round-about;
They tear,…they beat,…they tug.
Unable they are, though,…to uproot us, now;
Our Faith, so far,…beneath the sod.
My roots, steadfastly-fastened,…deep in rocky-clefts;
As we, (The Faithful),…lift high our heads, to God!...


(“THERE’S-NOTHING,…SO-GRAND”),…as we;
Those, who are One,…with Almighty-God.
We, letting Him lead,…even when;
He wields,…His chastening-Rod!...


Safe, from Satan’s,…subtle-wiles;
I wear God’s,…armor clad.
Satan’s darts, today,…no-longer-in-style;
Though he, be ever,…mad.
God’s children, hidden,…in cloven-tongues;
Making hearts light,…our Souls, no longer sad!... Amen.

When God,…drills a man,
And thrills a man,…and skills a man;
When He wants,…to mold a man:
He plays into,…our noblest part.
Yes, He yearns,…with all heart!...

He creates,…great men,
That this world,…be amazed.
So, watch His methods,…watch His ways;
He ruthlessly,…perfects:
Whom He,…Royally Elects!...

He hammers,…and hurts,
With Mighty Blows,…we’re converted;
Into trial-shapes,…of clay.
Only He,….understands,
While tortured hearts,…cry.
As He lifts,…beseeching hands!...

He bends,…but never breaks,
His Good,…He undertakes.
He uses, whom,…He chooses,
With every purpose,…fusing;
And, in every act,…inducing!...

So, try His splendor,…out;
And come to know,…what He’s about!... Amen.

Nourished inwardly,…with His-Truth.
My Soul longs,…for His Love;
As He returns,…from-on-High!....


(“COME-ONE,…COME-ALL”),…His Kingdom, we enter;
Under Rod-and-Staff,…counted, one by one.
He, our Shepherd,…we, His Sheep;
Jesus, my Lord,…my Saviour,…my Center!...


(“COME-ONE,…COME-ALL”),…His Rule,…I relish;
His-Righteous-Ways,…never perish.
You, my friend,…must know His mode;
He’s Lord,…He’s Saviour,…He’s, our Abode!....


(“COME-ONE,…COME-ALL”)…
Never, is He,…partial.
His Father taught Him,…all, He knows;
Love you,…Love me,…Love all.


(“COME-ONE,…COME-ALL”),…with inward Faith;
With outward gestures,…we show, we are.
Never snowy,…nor in vain;
Demonstrating,…All,…Our-Gain!....


Angel friends,…His Messengers;
By whom, we,…receive.
We learn,…we Love,…we Laugh;
With brothers and others,…no longer, deceived!... Amen.

Who, among you,…can withstand;
The burning desire,…of this Man?...
He, Who suffered,…for you and I;
Is, (“PRAYERFULLY,…POISED”),…and never, disbands!....


Amen,…to the Almighty;
And to Jesus,…His Son.
Glory in,…the highest;
To this, (“PRAYERFULLY,…POISED”),…our only One!....


You, who doubt,…come with;
To this place,…called, His.
With ears and,…eyes, opened;
He is, (“PRAYERFULLY,…POISED”),…speaking, no myths!....


There’s, no darkness,…here;
Only, “Light”,…with-no-smears.
Clarity,…becomes,…us;
As, (“PRAYERFULLY,…POISED”),…are we, His peers!....


Incessantly, fervently,…we pray;
For you,…for me,…for those, gone astray.
Jesus’ Love,…lastingly-lingers;
As we are, (“PRAYERFULLY,…POISED”),… this Day!....


His pastures,…are never arid;
Instead, well-watered,…and lush.
This Man we,…call, Jesus;
Is, (“Prayerfully,…POISED”),…and never hushed!....

“TWO-HEARTS,…AS-ONE!”….

Create in us, a Love,…Oh God;
An Eternal Love,…Your Love.
A Love, that forgives any failure,
Spans any distance, withstands any tempest!...

Create in us, a Love,…Oh God;
A new Love, a fresh Love.
A Love, with the tenderness of a lamb,
The grandeur, of a mountain;
The strength, of a Lion!...

And make us One,…Intimately One;
As You made a hundred colors, into One Sunset.
A Thousand cedars, into One Forest,
And countless stars, into One Galaxy!....

Make our,…(“TWO-HEARTS,…AS-ONE”);
Father,…forever.
That You, may be Praised,…Father,…forever!...

The beauty of fishing, is not in the catch; it’s in the experience. Triumphant in Christ, (His only begotten Son), is not something we do; it’s something we are. A True Mark, of any Visionary, is his or her willingness to lay down his or her life; for those, whom they will never see!...

Being tested, by our Maker, reminds us, that our function and task,…is to be about, His business. We should exit His Shop, with no questions, as to why Almighty God,…has created us!....

All my sins,…though red, like crimson.
He, has washed,…white, as snow.
I will follow,…where, He leads.
Nowhere, is too,…far, to Go!...

This wonderful, Redemption,…fills my soul, today.
Just a taste,…will keep me going.
Happy, on,…this Pilgrim-Way!...

Soon, we’ll stand,…by crystal-rivers.
With the ransomed,…Hosts-of-Grace.
And we’ll sing,…Redemption’s,…story:
Far above,…this unknown Place!...

Who can thrill,…like Jesus?;
Speaking-forth,…His Word, Divine.
So Faithful,…pure and precious;
Intoxicating,…are His lyrics.

Open His Book,…and read a portion, there.
Hallow all your thoughts,…and sweeten, all your Cares!...

Go thru,…(“THIS-DAY,…WITH,…GOD”);
Whatever your work,…may be.
Wherever you are,…at home or abroad.
He’s still,…near to Thee!...

Converse in mind,…with God.
Your spirit, heavy,…and inwardly raised.
Acknowledge every,…good, bestowed;
And offer,…your grateful Praise!...

Conclude,…(“THIS-DAY,…WITH,…GOD”);
Your Love,…to Him, confess.
Trust in His-Son’s,…Atoning-Blood.
And plead,…His,….Righteousness!...

Sin’s pleasures, have such,…great appeal;
They truly look like,…bargains rare.
But, seldom do we,…clearly see;
The hidden-cost, that we,…must bear!...


No one, could enter,…Heaven;
Our many sins,…stand in the Way.
So God, in Love,…sent Jesus;
For He alone, sin’s debt,…could pay!...


I question not, God’s,…means or ways;
Or how He, uses time,…or days:
To answer every,…call or prayer.
I know He will, somehow,…somewhere!...


Be not weary,…in your serving;
Do your best,…for those in need.
Kindnesses will be,…rewarded;
By our Lord, who prompts,…the deed!... Amen.
