The love of a father
It is like no other
It's a special kind of love
Like that from above
No one can really see
What kind of bond it will be
Between a father and child
But it will make him more mild
The love of a father
Will be no bother
As love grows in the heart
No matter how far apart
Like an invisable string
Love makes the heart sing
As it dances within the chest
You can bet there will be no rest
The love of a father
As strong as a mothers
The bond is there for sure
Running between and staying so true
The love for the child
May start off a bit mild
But grows more each day
As the child brightens his way
