The Lighthouse
She stands out there
At the ened of the bay
shining her lights
Making it light as day
Sending her signals
For ships lost at sea
A beacon for lost souls
Guiding them on thier way
Her lights goes spinning
Around and around
The splashing of waves
Is the only sound
She's just a lighthouse
That's what some folks say
Not caring just why
She stands on that bay
She's such a pretty sight
Standing there all alone
surrounded by nothing more
Than water and stone
Some don't give her credit
As she guides in the ships
Some would be so lost
Returning from long trips
But she stands at the bay
Like a lonewolf at sea
Helping guide lost souls
Just like you and me
Much like the lighthouse
May God be your beacon of light
Guiding you on your way
Through your journey of life
