Thank You For Being My Friend

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND

When the day is dreary
And I'm feeling down
I call you up
And get rid of my frown

Your voice is cheery
And filled with love
I realize you're a gift
Sent from heaven above

In a matter of minutes
My mood is up-beat
Your positive attitude
Is such a treat

You never complain
And you always care
I thank God every day
That you're always there

I want you to know
I'm here for you, too
Because when you're friends
That's what friends do

When you're feeling low
I'll make you smile
For you, my dear friend
I'd go the extra mile

Your smile's like the sun
Always shining so bright
When I hear your laughter
I know all will be right

You've helped me so much
You're always such a dear
We've shared happy times
As well as times of fear

God knew we'd need help
Along life's way
He brought us together
And that's how we'll stay

I thank you from my heart
For being my friend
I love you and hope
Our friendship will never end

Beverly Angel, What a beautiful tribute to friendship!! Isn't it wonderful to have friends we can count on to help up through the valleys of life? You are just such a friend to all of us blessed enough to call you friend!!! I love this poem and you too XXOO!!!! ((((Jeanette))))

Dear Jeanette....Thank you for this great comment. Yes, it is wonderful to have friends who are by your side during both the good times and the bad times. All of you here are such friends to me. I hold each one of you close to my heart and I thank God that you are in my life.

Hey Bev!!!
This is just adorable, and a wonderful friendship poem....I had not seen this one when I was posting my new write...we must be both thinking of wonderful friends today! Today is the anniversary of my daddy's birthday, and he was always such an optimist with a big smile, that I saved it to do it today in memory of him!
You are truly a wonderful friend to all of us! Image............a real angel!!!

Look at the gem I found in my mailbox, Holy Moses & the ten commandments what a beauty you have penned here!!! You are a wonderful soul and have written a beautiful masterpiece of friendship!!! I totally agree with Jan & Steve that this would be a perfect ecard!!! Awesomely done young lady!!!
