Killer Bridge

Killer Bridge

Across the ghostly bridge
A predator awaits in the fog
Waiting for you to cross
So he can jump on you like a frog

But he's so much bigger
The most dangerous on land
For at the end of that bridge
Lays await one crazy man

He's no ghost but a legend
And as scary as can be
He don't care who you are
But on his victims he will feed

The fog is like the darkness
It helps him hide from you
And means to kill everyone
That crosses that bridge, it's true

It started on a rainy night
When his loved ones was killed
In a bloody and fiery crash
Now he's after revenge for blood spilled

Some say it's just a legend
But locals know it's true
They have tried to hunt him down
But even the hounds lost all clue

So he hangs around that bridge
Where he buried his loved ones remains
Hunting for anyone to come across
Over there in his killing lanes

Like a ghost out of no where
He'll jump on your back
With claws and teeth sinking in
Is how he begins his attack

He's been known to lay trees
On the road just to get you to park
Once you get out to move the tree
That's when he springs from the dark

So be warned of this bridge
Should you cross in the dark or fog
Keep on driving as fast as you can
Should you see a tree or log

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A GENIOUS
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
