The Leafs Are Falling
The leafs are falling
Floating with the breeze
In all shades of colors
As they fall from the trees
The wind is blowing
A cool gentle breeze
Bringing on colds
Some with lots of sneeze
The temps are dropping
Each and every night
Trying to tell us all
That winter is within sight
Some leafs are still green
Trying to hang on tight
Until the frost comes for them
In the middle of the night
But to see all the colors
That nature has on display
Is a sight for sore eyes
More than words can ever say
As they gently fall down
Into a running little stream
Like someone on a kayak
You can almost hear them scream
Yes the leafs are falling
And winter will soon be here
So get out and enjoy the sights
Before life kicks you in the rear
Yes the leafs are changing
From green,to yellow,red and blue
Saying there are all shades of life
To by lived out by both me and you
