As I look in the mirror, what do I see?
A vaguely strange face, staring back at me.
Her hair is familiar, her features are too.
something is different, but I haven't a clue.
Is she a friend? Did I know her quite well?
Something is different, still I can't tell.
This image I see, has a smile that's not real.
Does she have a heart? Or can she not feel?
The look in her eyes has an unfinished look.
Just as a novel, from an unpublished book.
So broken an battered, her scars tend to bleed.
With cracks on her skin, exposing her seed.
Her smiled has now withered. so lifeless and dry.
Her eyes hold an ocean, but never will cry.
Frozen in time in the mirror she'll remain.
Reveal not her weakness, will be her restrain.
