Haunted Treasure

Down under the sea
Way down deep below
There rests a ship
From a long time ago

There is a treasure there
Of silver and of gold
Guarded by bodies of men
And their restless souls

They say to try and find it
You'll surely pay the price too
Only greed will lead you there
And that friends takes a fool

Some say it was Blackbeard
And his stolen chest of treasures
But only the greedy ones will try
Just to fill their pleasures

So many have tried in the past
But none of them have returned
They left back big families
To sit by the sea and yearn

Don't go looking for that treasure
You better heed my warning son
For it's a trip of no return
All you'll do is leave back loved ones

They say at night along the bank
You can see pirates moving around
But no matter how long you watch
You'll never hear them make a sound

Yes there's a treasure under that sea
With gold and silver galore
But the best advice I can give
Is 'Don't step off the sea shore'

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A GENIOUS
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
