The Red Tailed Hawk

Way up there
At the top of the tree
There sits a big hawk
Sitting there watching me

As I move
He turns his head
With lots of colors
And his tail is red

Then he soars
Across the field
Looking for game
That he can kill

He likes his rabbits
For, they are an easy prey
But, if he can't spot one
Then, he'll settle for mice today

He soars across the field
Gliding back and forth
Watching with his eyes
As he is headed back north
