Are You Patient?

Post by Rufus Curtis » Fri Nov 30, 2012 3:13 pm

Are you patient enough to wait
the writer's block will soon pass
You know it is never too late
to pen some words that will last

When you write words from your heart
and from deep within your soul
Very often the tears will start
down your cheeks they start to roll

Poems are more than words we write
they are pieces of who we are inside
I know that as these tears blind my sight
my emotions I just cannot hide

Wait patiently for words will come
they are already upon the brink
At the edge of your heart are some
let them flow and don't stop to think

Rufus,
I have been there before also I think all writers have. And like you wrote here we have to be patient.
Poems are a part of our heart and souls and mean so much to me as well! Hang in there you are an Awesome writer I know this poem touched my heart today.
