that stone wall

Post by Rufus Curtis » Tue Apr 03, 2012 12:45 pm

i've hit that stone wall again
words just won't seem to come
maybe it's because of my sin
and my writing days are done

i hope that's not the case
but one can never know
some sins may not erase
so words of rhyme won't show

i will not give up the ship
or the pen that writes the words
on that slippery slope i've slipped
so in case you have not heard

i've hit that stone wall again
the rhymes won't leave my head
tomorrow i'll try again
i hope my rhymes are not dead

inspired by my inability
to write poems this morning

RUFUS, FEAR NOT YOUR WRITING WILL RETURN. TAKE A RIDE IN YOUR CAR, GO FOR A NATURE WALK OR IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE A BRAIN STORM GO TO WAL-MART AND WATCH AND TALK TO SOME OF THE PEOLE COMING AND GOING THERE. :D YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE BRAIN SOME STIMULATION AND YOUR BRAIN WILL BE READY TO WRITE SO MANY THINGS. BLESSING TO YOU.
SINCERELY BRENDA

Rufus, even when you hit that mental wall, your words flow so well in your expressiveness. God bless you and yours, Rufus!

Rufus: Words shared well for those of us who are writers often hit that stone wall.....and like Brenda says and I have found, when I turn away from thoughts of writing to do something else, the words and writing quickly return.....be good to yourself and be blessed......KayD
