~I'm Gonna Stay~

You are the sun that shines
The reason I walk on
You are the light in the dark
The keeper of secrets
You are the one who forgives!

You are the one who says to me, "I'm gonna stay",
Who is here come what may;
You are the one who calms my spirit with peace;
My Darling who helps troubles of life cease.

Thank you saying, "I'm Gonna Stay"!

A very beautiful poem Sheila, all the things one looks for in someone they love and who loves in return. It could also fare as a friendship poem as well me thinks. Very well done my friend. Enjoyed it very much. God bless.

Life is perfect if everything will fall in place with the right person to share your good and bad. I'll be there is something that has to come from the heart and just not merely words. It's something that has to be fulfilled when uttered and the responsibility is wide in scope because it doesn't necessarily have to be the perfect one but someone you care about and cares about you in return. This is a beautiful poem, Sheila. Enjoyed it and thanks for sharing. God bless you and all those you love.

Yes, love is patient, and love is kind, and love is commitment! Just as Jesus is always there for us, we should be there for those that we love!
As, His beloved desciples gathered with Him to partake of The Last Supper, He was with them to the "end"! Image
