Two More Miles

Two More Miles

Just two more miles
Until he's finally home
Wrapped up in her arms
No more feeling a lone

He's been on the road
Driving on pushing that steam
Pulling those heavy loads
Holding her in his dreams

(chorus)
(Yes two more miles
To her loving arms
Love will bring smiles
As they melt each others charms)

He could have other women
Out there on the road
But could only think of her
As he hooked up to each load

Each load gets him closer
To make it back to her love
For she is his one Angel
Sent from Heaven above

(repeat chorus)
(Yes two more miles
To her loving arms
Love will bring smiles
As they melt each others charms)

Just another mile now
This has been going on for years
All those countless miles
And all their worries and fears

He's about to retire for good
Leaving that truck in that lot
Just to hold her in his arms
And love her with all he's got

(repeat chorus)
(Yes two more miles
To her loving arms
Love will bring smiles
As they melt each others charms)

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A GENIOUS
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
