More Than A Story
If you'll listen to me
I'll tell you a story
About a baby sent down
To save us all for glory
He grew up to a man
He had no degree but preached
He spread the word of God
To everyone He could reach
He didn't have a car
But traveled the best He could
Saving all that would listen
The way His Father said He should
He had a few followers
Helping spread the words
Trying to pass a message
As He tried to save the world
His enemies tried him
Then hung Him on a cross
Tortured Him until death
As the stones they did toss
They burried him in a cave
Then put a boulder in front
Then three days later
They moved the rock to taughnt
When the rock was moved
No one was there to be found
Just the rags He was wrapped on
As they called out just an echo sound
Then from behind them
A voice said "Are you looking for Me?"
They said "Are you Jesus?"
He said "I am He!"
Though He's in Heaven
He's listening to us everyday
Just watching and listening
To everything we have to say
Today you can still find Him
Pray to Him for a start
I have a good feeling
You'll find Him in your heart

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A GENIOUS
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
