Rain On The Roof
Rain on the roof top
The rhythmn puts me to sleep
But each of those rain drops
Are from the Angels weep
Softly as the rain falls
Down on my metal roof
Tipping and tapping
Like a soft musical tune
The sound makes one sleepy
No matter who you are
There's something about the rain
As it drops down so far
As it hits the land
It cleans Mans mistakes
Washing them down stream
Running to rivers and lakes
Softly beating on the roof
Like a far off distant drum
Watering the earth below
Cleansing the soul for some
Washing in worms in waters
To help feed the fish
While watering farmers fields
To help put food on your dish
As you listen to the rain
Be sure and remember these words
For it all adds to survival
For us as well as the birds

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL

IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
