Out There In That Field

Out There In That Field

Out there in the field
There stands a stone
With a name ingraved
This stone is not alone

There are more stones
Lined up there in rows
How many more shall join
God only knows

Each one there served in wars
Some died from bombs some from a gun
In case you haven't figuired it out
All these graves are in Arlington

Will the wars ever end
When will the madness stop
They was someones childern
They got orders from the top

Many have purple hearts
For what good they are now
Sent off to fight a war
When will we throw in the towel

Out there in that field
Have proven to be the best
But until Judgment Day
They will never get any rest

Out there in that field
There are many stories to tell
But many just to get there
Have went through a living Hell

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A GENIOUS
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
