All across this land
There are sights we need to see
There are stories yet to tell
In this land of the brave and free

There are so many places
With stories yet un-told
Where so many were killed off
With killers blood running cold

There were settlers here
Before Columbus stepped on land
And slowly the indians were taken out
By a more greedy, and bigger band

They kept moving west
Taking what they wanted most
Only caring for their wants
It never mattered what the cost

They came by the wagon trains
Moving all across this land
Through all kinds of weather
Even through the burning sands

They wiped out the red-man
Or took them to certain towns
To force them the new language
As if they were some kind of clowns

They made so many promises
That they never intended to keep
Burying them by the villages
Sometimes killing them in their sleep

But so little did they know
The red-man will rise again
And when it comes Judgement day
We shall all pay for our sins

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL

Norman,
This is so good you can write about anything! It is sad what they did to the Indians and one day they will be held accountable.

God Bless You Eva
