We Had All Best Beware

It's getting colder outside
There's a chill in the air
There will be Monsters and Goblins
We had all best beware

Before we even know it
It will be Trick-Or-Treat night
Then it will be time to pass out candy
Under the front porch light

Children will be in costumes
As they call out "Trick-Or-Treat"
But, they had best be careful
Or they could end up Draculas treat

There will be Ghosts and Witches
Flying all over in the air
Taking sudden little dives
Just to give children a scare

The coyotes are howling
Along with the wolves at the moon
They all know this time of year
That Halloween is coming soon

So don't go on a porch
If that light is not on
Or you could be one of so many
That come up missing and are gone

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A GENIOUS
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
