I never thought you'd leave me.
I never thought you'd go.
You taught me how to give,
My love for you still grows.
If I had just one wish,
It definitely would be...
To tell you that I love you,
How I need you close to me.
But I can wish forever,
Still my heart will always ache.
Though I know you cannot be here,
Your name I won't forsake.
Your kindness will continue
Your memory will live on,
The things I do for others,
Will reflect your love so strong.
I promise you my mother
Though i know you cannot see,
To be the loving Christian
You wanted me to be.
I'll share all that I have
And give it from my heart,
Your giving will continue,
With honor I'll take part.

That's nice Norman that you can see your mom in your daughter. I'm finding that with each passing day I'm becoming more and more like my mother; which to me is an honor...be blessed.
