Springtime Of The Year

Springtime Of The Year

As the wind blows
You can hear the cries
As the tree limbs swing
To the winds Lula byes

As the rain drops
You can feel her tears
The ones mother earth
Has been crying for many years

As the leafs blow
Like a tornado around
You can faintly hear
A low freight train sound

As the ground warms up
And the buds begin to sprout
Wild onions will be one of the first
To pop-up there's no doubt

As the weather warms up
The birds sing in cheer
For all of them know
It's Springtime of the year

TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A GENIOUS
TO SOME WE SEEM LIKE A FOOL
BUT OUR WORDS OF POETRY
IS JUST OUR EXPESSION TOOL
