As a kid out Trick-Or-Treating
Take a guess at what I did see
A Ghostly white figuire on a horse
And he was looking right at me
He said "watch out boy!"
"And, you had better change your ways,"
Or soon I'll be coming after you,
Long before Judgement Day!"
It was then I blinked
And he instantly disappeared
But those haunting words
Kept coming to me loud and clear
As I turned the corner
There he was again on that horse
With their glow so bright
Then they came after me of course
He said "My name is Jack!"
And you are getting on my nerves
He swung his sword at me
I ducked and tripped over the curb
He chased me a few blocks
As I was ducking here and there
Like he had something against me
And nothing seemed to be fair
He said "I will get you, boy!,
Before this day is through!"
About that time his horse tripped
And through the air he flew
Then Jack got back up
And came after me some more
Swinging away with his sword
This time, I thought I was gone for sure
But, by this time I got relieved
Because it was getting good and light
I didn't get any candy that year
But, I was rid of that Halloween Fright
