Fair Time Of The Year

Hot dogs and cheeseburgers
Cotton candy and elephant ears
From the rides to the games
Yes, it's Fair time of the year

When Four-H members
With animals all around
As you walk by them
You'll be on humble ground

There are those gamers
With tricks up their sleeves
Trying to draw you in
To their game of greed

Then there are wild animals
stuffed there on display
To draw your attention to what
The game warden has to say

There are tractor pulls
On certain nights of the week
Trying to out pull each other
It's fame and money that they seek

There are calves and horses
Pigs, rabbits and chickens too
There are so many animals
It's almost looks like a zoo

Just think of that cotton candy
And Elephant ears too
Then those foot long hotdogs
All waiting there for you
