"Santa's List"

Reading down his big long list
Santa's face, lit into a smile
So many children wanting things
He'd be busy for quite a while

Each year his list grows longer
Elves are working triple time
Making dolls, soldiers and things
There is neither reason, nor rhyme

Mrs. Santa's always busy baking
Oh, so many delightful things
Cookies in the shape of reindeer's
And little angels, with halo rings

Happily, elves are quickly knitting
Chimney stockings, in red and white
To hold toys, candies and treats
Making sure every stitch is tight

With pipe in hand, Santa sits down
Preparing to check his list, twice
Making sure each girl and boy
Wasn't too naughty... but nice

The names appearing on Santa's list
Are from children, everywhere
So anxiously waiting on him
To deliver his . . . Christmas cheer

Then Santa laughed, his Ho, Ho, Ho!
Meaning, everything's almost set
For him to begin his long Sleigh Ride
Making this, the Best Christmas yet!

Maybe I should teach you to do Power Point, unless you already know, and then I can convert to videos. Later.

Well thank you guys, for the nice comments. I appreciate them :-D
Steve, I used to mess with power point, here and there, but I don't think I have it here on Windows 7, to tell you the truth I never looked. I will check it out, when I have time.
Merry Christmas!

Dear Judith,

This reminds me so much of my childhood. Santa was always good to me and it was so exciting to be that age and wonder just how Santa was able to take so many gifts all around the world. BUT......no one else ever knew it, but every year (per my Mom & Dad), SANTA ALWAYS CAME TO MY HOUSE FIRST!!!! Can you tell I was an only child??? Actually, I think it had a great deal to do with the fact that my parents didn't want to stay up all night. So, at about 5:00 in the afternoon on Christmas Eve, Mom always thought of something she just had to have from the store, so off Dad & I would go! When I got back, low and behold Santa had been there and left my heart's desire for that year.

You have awakened lovely memories for me this morning and for this I thank you. This is just so precious. God bless you. And, GOD BLESS SANTA, too!

Love, Karen

Thanks BJ and Karen. I too. . .Love to remember days of long ago, when Christmas felt like Christmas, there were Carols sung everywhere, and people hustling and bustling all around town, carrying packages, with smiles on their faces. People, complete strangers wishing everyone that passed a "Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year!" There were always beautiful Nativity Scenes to marvel at, and on and on. . . Oh what this generation is missing. . .
Wishing all a very "Merry Christmas!"
Blessings,
JJK
