The Season Of Christmas

Post by Hope » Fri Nov 27, 2009 10:33 am

The season of Christmas is upon us once again,
It’s a time to be together ,
with our loved ones and our friends.
It’s a time to say our prayers,
and to thank God up above,
For sending us baby Jesus,
and His forgiveness, and His love.
It’s a time for peace hope, love and joy,
And to a small child,
under the tree a brand new toy.
Christmas has so many meanings,
to each one a special thought,
Of good times fun and laughter,
and the love that Jesus’ birth brought.

Yes indeed youn lady Eva, well, much younger than I am. A very good Christmas poem you have penned. But then you do write them all this way. Thanks for the link and for sharing. God bless.

Dear Eva, this is a special treasure my dear! Loved the poem of Christmas, of our JESUS. Wonder how I missed this one? I'm glad I didn't miss it entirely, because it really blessed my heart. You know, come to think of it, all your poems lead us in celebrating with you all that Christ has done for us!!! You are such a blessing Eva!!! -Dawn

Dear Eva, I enjoyed this one so much, simple and real! No fancy words, just words from the heart. Even though Christmas is past, it's never too late for others to read this and remember Our Lord and Savior and the great sacrifice he gave for us. Beautiful job! God Bless. DEB
