I have met someone famous--F. Lee Bailey (was on the defense team for O. J. Simpson, for instance). In the course of my career, I had to pick him up at our local airport, took him to lunch, then to the appellate court where he was opposing counsel on one of our cases and was arguing opposite my boss before a panel of judges at the appellate court.

I've been in large crowds, but 100,000? I don't think more than 50,000 or so.

Have you ever known anyone who had a near death experience?

I've met F.Lee Baily also!!! Back in 1989 I think..here in Cali. He was defending a woman who put a "I'm a pig " sign on her daughter and made her wear it while walking in front of her house. The mom had tried everything to get the girl to clean her room..LOL Back then parents did that sort of thing..

I have met many famous people..sports stars..actors, agents, producers, major company owners, billionairs..Politians..My daughter..well, she was famous around Cali..LOL

I have been in Manhattan where it seemed as though the crowds were that many..probably not though..

Have you ever hiked somewhere?

I've hiked for pleasure--Rocky Mt. National Park, various places in Colorado, Smokey Mountains. Nowhere around where I live, though.

Okay, you've piqued my curiosity, Marlys. Who's your daughter? I'm just being nosy. Of course, you don't have to tell us.

Well, I haven't been here for the last week and I am way behind. I am just going to start from here.
I don't think I have any hidden talents. I do like to draw with oil pastals,
but, just for fun.

I live in Daytona Beach and I have attened a couple races at the racetrack that holds 300,000 people. Traffic and walking around are both big issues durring race day.

My wife and I used to go every year back when we could afford it. Lately we only get to watch the races on TV but if we step outside we can see the GOODYEAR blimp hovering over the racetrack only 10 or so miles from where we live.

hidden talents.. I do play drums a bit but I don't think that is a talent, just a good way for me to enjoy myself without getting in anyones way. I like to draw but I mostly cartoonish characters.. I will have to think about it too see if I really do have any hidden talents and get back with you later on that one.

Have you ever gone half the day thinking it was a Wednesday only to find out it was still Tuesday?

I think everyone I know has done that before
regardless of their age.

I live in Bakersfield Calif. They are in the process of constructing a
new Nascar track here, due to open in March. It will be the largest one
this side of the Mississippi. They are building a large tunnel under it, so
that you can get from one side to the other, easier.

I have been to Time Square but not on New Years Eve

I have gone all day thinking it was another day of the week..

I have a few talents I believe..

I have a flare for fashion and interior decorating
I have a keen eye for remodeling
I play a few instruments
I crochet( I like to creat with patterns and color combos)
I have dabbled in painting
I have a talent for creating recipes and/or altering a recipe(my cinnamon rolls have local notoriety)
I make custom hard candy suckers..
I have a talent for children! ( I have learned how to stay sane over all these years) LOL

My daughter's pic is in my family pics here if you want to take a peek!

My daughter first gained fame in Northern Cali for being the first local gal to become a cheer leader for the Raiders Football team..
Then she got a leading roll in a made for t.v. movie..
Next, she landed a roll as a main character on Baywatch..
She had a small part in Jerry McGuire, Batman and a few sitcoms like Arliss and the one with Tim Allen, Home Improvement
She did commercials mostly overseas Etc...She did many photo shoots for fashion..now she is in her last year of law school. She will do contract law for celebrities

I have always thought you had many talents. You didn't have to meet a famous person, you raised several.
I saw a bumper stick a couple of days ago that said, I child proofed my
house, but they keep showing up anyway.

What is your new question?

I have written a eulogy for my mother-in-law but didn't read it myself.

I once saw someone murdered who was standing about 10 feet away from me but other than my pets, I have never been with them at the moment of their death.

Yes, I have done that a couple of times with movies, ones that I hadn't seen in a while.

I watched a movie at my daughter's yesterday. It was called, Zoom, have you seen it before?

I saw a play in Las Vegas last year , I'm having a brain freeze..it was the one with Abba's music

I haven't been to a parade in years

I have been at an accident and held a woman right before the ambulance took her..she begge me not to leave her but they wouldn't let me go. I told her I would follow to the hospital and be with her. She passed on the way. I have always been haunted by that

Have you ever known someone who died and came back?
