Snotty Scotty
by Sandra S. Corona

Snotty Scotty, oozing goo,
wants to cling to someone new.
He's a drip, hasn't a clue,
that his buddies give folks flu.
Scot's apt to clutch our clothes,
bid time till he grabs our nose.

Snotty Scotty is naughty.
He thinks a tie is haughty
since Scot's from Cincinnati.
He's a blob, booger, waddy.
Scot hates to be blown apart ...
even boogers have a heart.

Snotty Scotty has issues:
prefer hanky's to tissues,
lives to drizzle, slide, run, ooze
seeing himself on new shoes.
You think he's shallow? He's deep--
barricades when we rest, sleep!

His Ma shout in rage, "Engaged--
that drop can't string e'en one page.
Son, choose a booger well-aged--
who leaves folks choking, a daze."

"Momma, she's ready to plop
little spittles of new snot."

Ma popped! "Swell ... Snotty Scotty!"

I am not perfect. I am a work in progress. I have the greatest carpenter who ever
lived repairing me. Do you know Him?
His name is Jesus Christ.
