Baby Boy
He crawls across the floor
On a mission on his knees
Looking up at you with a smile
Always looking to you to please
He don't know good from bad
Until someone teaches him so
Because he's just a baby
And has no other way to know
When he starts to get hungry
You'll be the next to know
Because when he starts crying
It won't be for just a show
And if that diaper needs changed
He'll inform you of that too
No matter if it's just a pee one
Or if it's one full of stinky poo
They are such a joy to watch
Until they start getting into things
And everytime you correct them
Be prepared for those screams
For now he crawls across the floor
And soon he'll be walking too
Then comes the running into stuff
Thought I'd leave warning here for you
Once they get big enough
And it's girls they start to chase
Then they bring in a baby of their own
Those memories begin again instead of erase
