“IN-LIGHT,…OF,…ETERNITY!”…

We never enjoy illness or affliction. After all, what good could possibly result,…from our ailments?... Our Father-in-Heaven, would never allow us to get sick,…for any reason: would He?...

Folks, the answer is surprisingly,…yes; suffering is one of the consequences of living,…in a fallen world: so don’t be surprised, when it comes your way. However, Almighty-God can use it,…to get our attention; if illness is what it takes, for us to re-focus on His Son, (Jesus-of-Nazareth): that’s exactly what He will allow to happen!...

When we are first introduced to the character of Paul, in our Bible,…he is known; as Saul. He was Christianity’s worse enemy…(see, Acts 9:1-2). So, how did the Son-of-God,…get Saul’s attention?... Jesus, had died and had already risen,…from the dead. He, at this point,…stood and still stands; at the right-hand of His God and Father-in-Heaven!...(Jehovah, His Excellent-Name).

Jesus, in the Spirit,…revealed Himself to Saul; in a brilliant flash-of- light, that caused him to become completely blind. This enemy of Christ’s early Church, was now brought,…very low; having to be led into town, by the hand,…completely at the mercy: of others!...

What went through his mind, during these three (3) days of blindness?... No doubt, he was focus on one thing,…Christ-Jesus; the very Son of our living-God!... By contrast, had he seen God Himself,…Saul; would have dropped-dead, instantly!... Let’s remember that, no one in the flesh can see God,…and live; to tell about it!... Folks, this is most Biblical…

Even the Son’s own Divine image, was portrayed as a great-flash of Light!... Neither One of these Divine-Entities, are limited as we are limited,…by our five-senses; they come and go, as they very well please. Jesus, after His resurrection,…was known; to have come in and out, amongst and in the midst,…of many: including His immediate disciples, in that upper-room!...

As well, He can transform Himself,…to the point; of not being recognized, even by His closest and most intimate,…acquaintances.

By removing Saul’s sight, Jesus took away all distractions,…during this vital time; in this man’s life. Our Creator, (Jesus’ God and Father); has a primary goal, that being,…our ultimate good: not our comfort or short-term happiness. God, (through His Son), wants only what is best for us,…(“IN-LIGHT,…OF,…ETERNITY”)!... Amen.
