I Heard The Angels Singing [SONG]

As I walk through those Pearly Gates
What a sight I begin to see
Before my very eyes on the throne
Was my Christ of Calvary

As I knelt down in front of Him
My tears was plain to see
Then He said "Welcome my child,
For I have been waiting for thee

[chorus]
[I heard the Angels singing
A song of praise for thee
For this was my day
In the land of such Glory

They sung with sweet harmony
Like I've never heard before
Praising our sweet savior
Right there on that shore]

As I got up a hand touched me
And I felt no more burdens
For that mighty powerful hand
Lifted them as easy as a cutrain

[chorus]
[I heard the Angels singing
A song of praise for thee
For this was my day
In the land of such Glory

They sung with sweet harmony
Like I've never heard before
Praising our sweet savior
Right there on that shore]

Then I heard a baby crying
And I turned to see where it might be
Then it let out an aweful cry
And it woke me from my dream

At first I was a bit confused
Then I realised it was but a dream
But with the Pearly gate and streets pf gold
It all felt too real to be justa dream

[chorus]
[I heard the Angels singing
A song of praise for thee
For this was my day
In the land of such Glory

They sung with sweet harmony
Like I've never heard before
Praising our sweet savior
Right there on that shore]

But what a sweet dream it was
To have in the middle of the day
And when I reach that land of glory
I want it to look just that way

[chorus]
[Oh, I heard the Angels singing
A song of praise for thee
For this was my day
In the land of such Glory

They sung with sweet harmony
Like I've never heard before
Praising our sweet savior
Right there on that shore]
