I Pray


I pray you find serenity
When you travel across the land
I pray you find tranquility
In things you don't understand.

I pray you never have any pain
When the world is cruel to you
I pray your goals you can attain
And the strength to see them through.

I pray you will always know of love
And that you are never alone
I pray you know of God above
And a path for you has been shown.

I pray you will always know of peace
And no strife will beckon your door
I pray that all your anxieties cease
And each day will be brighter than before.

I pray you will always have a smile
And a kind word you'll hear each day
I pray you can face any trial
That you may encounter along your way.

I pray you will always have rays of sunshine
And that your skies will be forever blue
I pray many friends you will find
Who will always be true to you.

I pray no storms will buffet your shores
And beauty is all you'll see
I pray that you have enough and more
And that the Lord hears all your pleas.

These things I will always pray for you
Because you are a dear friend
I want you to know I'll always be true
I'll be with you till the end.
