God Gave Us

God gave us the moon
To light up the night
He gave us the sun
To start off each day right

God gave us His love
To spread all around
Among friends and strangers
Sometimes without making a sound

God gave us trees
To move with the wind
As He sends down a new angel
To help someones heart to mend

God gave us stars
To twinkle every night
Twinkling in morris code
How everything's going to be alright

God gave us more, than
We, could ever dream of
He gives us his greatest gift
His unconditional love

God gave us our hearts
Just so that we could lend
And then He gave me you
To have as a special friend

Dearest Norman................now you are more than a dear....you are a dearest....oh, how very, very sweet of you to post this beautiful poem with words that indeed touch my spirit and my heart .....just love the words....the stars twinkle in Morris code.....how unique to think that!
This is surely worthy to be considered for an ecard, and I am going to nominate it!
God bless you for your caring ways - for your family, your friends, your country, and for your dogs (just had to put that in..tee hee)!
