Re: Sapphire Moon

ooh Denise, this was beautiful.. This line here Allow me to coast on your iridescent trails, really stood out to me as one of the most wonderful lighthearted poetic lines I've ever read. Enjoyed, too bad at NetHugs you can't hand out "exalts" when someone writes something you consider beyond the nor...

Re: IN JUST A MOMENT OUT OF TIME

Hi Linda, this was very brilliantly written and imaginative. A moment out of time and a moment in your mind. your poem is quite a nice addition to that special legacy that has entertained children and adults and given us so many reasons to keep reading and writing ourselves. Really enjoyed my friend...

Re: How to Get Ahead In Life

Very cute and funny. So enjoyable I read it twice,

Gangster Heart

You may wonder why I would put a poem about Al Capone one of America's most notorious gangsters, in the heart... because he wrote his wife a song and his song is very beautiful so I included it, for you to read youself, at the end of this story. I found out Al Capone played the banjo while in prison...

Re: No Storm Can Sink Us

thank you all for your support, from both mystery and I,
however we have to wait now till next year to be together,
due to both a finicial commitment and an illness in her family.
Yet, we still keep the faith and our love is strong.

I'm glad you enjoyed.

Pushing My Luck

Sometimes, in life, things happen to you that really make you loose your faith in mankind This is about one of those times.. I was 18, living on my own in Houston Texas This is the story of what happened on my first job there, and why I had to quit it.. I felt if I didn't I would be... Pushing My Lu...

No Storm Can Sink Us

No Storm Can Sink Us Another cloudy day Another rain delay I smile anyway When I think of you.. I look to the sky Quietly I sigh Watching heaven cry It's morning dew.. To you I send a smile Across many a mile I know it's just your style A momentary eclispe.. For the rain clouds break The morning su...

Re: The GiggleBumpusTummyThumpusWiggleRumpus Critter

thank you all, laughter seems to be something I have a knack at writing and honesty, I don't know exactly why as my first poems were all sad poems. It is replies that give me the inspiration to try and keep writing more. As people who are aware of my work know, most of my poems come from one prompt ...

Re: For Tork

Hi Kevin, I'm a believer in always looking at the cup as half full. I have a great friend named Ray, and Ray is a diabetic and can no longer walk and is so skinny that were it not for his wheelchair, you would look right past him. A couple years ago I would have Ray over to my house to spend time wi...

Re: Robin Marie Cobb a limerick

this is a fun poem about how love can change someone for the better, which it really can. However to call it a real limerick you will have to rewrite the lines down into only five lines and use a AABBA rhyme scheme. This poem has enough rhymes in it, that were they placed in the correct order, you c...

Re: Some Never Believe Me

Norman, it matters not what most believe when you say those three words.. as they are often the most quoted words in the English language that it's easy to doubt the honesty behind them.. however, what matters is that the one you say them too knows with all her heart that they are true because she c...

what we may have to let go physically we always can keep close in our hearts. Honesty in poetry is a beautiful thing and your words paint pictures.
